...A Day of Animal Fun (part 2)

...off to the Bate's family house to see their 6 week old Anatolian Shepherd Puppies! Mr. Zach Bates and his family have a pure bred, registered show dog named "Bear" who just had puppies... 10 of them! Mr. Bate's "Bear" recently won the "Best of Breed" award at the Dog Show in San Patricio County Fairgrounds (Sinton). The girls were thrilled to see the baby puppies and cuddle them; the puppies are very big and sturdy for only 6 weeks old!

Bear is a protective "mamma". She's not sure about all these Girl Scouts in her space!

In addition to the puppies, the Bate's family have goats... and baby goats!!! The girls bottle fed one of the babies and learned a bit about the "what's" and "why's" from Mrs. Bates.
